IBM Flying Club Instructors
The IBM Flying Club has 3
instructors within its ranks (all have examiner privileges). If you are
looking for a trial flight, a PPL course, a refresher, a test, a renewal,
log book stamp, or just advice, you should find we have coverage here:

Brian Mellor was a founder member of the Club and
currently resides near Jerez in Spain. He is still available
to be contacted for training and all signatures US (BFR's) and UK,
both Single, Multi, IMC and IFR, ratings. |

Dave Sawdon is an Instructor and Examiner for all
aspects of Single and Multi-engine flying including: PPL, NPPL,
aerobatics, IMC, multi-engine, tailwheel and night. Most weekends he
can be found working at Old Sarum but he's prepared to travel around
and can sometimes be found examining or instructing at Popham,
Southampton, Bournemouth - or virtually anywhere else in Wiltshire
or Hampshire where there is a need. He first flew solo in 1971
(in a glider) but returned to both gliding and power flying in 1982;
becoming a gliding instructor in 1986, an aeroplane instructor in
1995 and an aeroplane examiner in 2002. He has held a CAA CPL and an
Instrument Rating since 1997 and has flown about 60 different types.
He a co-owner of a Bulldog G-BULL (ex- Hong
Kong) and Piper Arrow G-TORC, both of these are available for hire
and training at Old Sarum.
